Philip Morris has been promoting its Marlboro brand by displaying flashy danglers containing alluring phrases such as LESS SMELL TECHNOLOGY, SMOOTHFLO, BALANCED TASTE at points-of-sale all over the country. According to tobacco control law, any sort of advertisement and promotion of tobacco products at points-of-sale is prohibited and considered as a punishable offence. Such activities must be stopped through strict implementation of the tobacco control law. |
